Blended teas are a variety of tea created
by combining two or more different kinds of tea leaves. This can be done to
lower production costs, develop a novel flavour, or enhance the tea's quality.
Black and green teas are frequently combined to create blended teas, but other
tea combos can also be used. The foundation of a tea blend typically consists
of tea, but it can occasionally also be a dried herb. Any variety of tea may be
used as a pure tea in blended teas. The process of blending and scenting teas
can give tea a new perspective.
