Orthodox Tea

Orthodox teas are a black tea made in the Indian state of Assam. The Assam tea plant, a subspecies of the Camellia sinensis plant, provides the leaves used to make the tea. To create black tea, the leaves are withered, curled, and then subjected to oxidation. In black tea mixes, it is frequently used because of its potent, malty flavour.
